§ Drive forward the accreditation of factories in the areas of social, environment, custom security and technical compliance.
§ Work closely with the sourcing managers in global office while keeping in close touch with our customer
§ Need extensive traveling to factories, in China and other production countries in Asia
§ Liaise with external service providers on audit/evaluation related matters and or industry intelligence.
§ Partner with quality department to carry out compliance related initiatives.
§ Provide internal training and consultation on compliance to other team members, suppliers and factories.
§ Ensure that expenditures and resource allocations meet budgetary and business needs in the areas of factory training, qualification, certification, and other related tasks.
§ Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
A suitable candidate should –
§ Hold a university degree in related discipline or equivalent academic/professional training background.
§ Have minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with track record in managing compliance for a sizeable organization (will consider a lesser experienced candidate at a junior position).
§ Possess profound understanding of the requirements of various compliance standards/programs in US market primarily; knowledge and experience in other markets will be a plus.
§ Work independently yet being a good team player.
§ Perform consistently under tight timeline and constant pressure.
§ Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with the team and external parties (including customer).
§ Be result-oriented, with strong problem-solving ability
§ Be a strategic thinker, able to embrace new way of working
§ Is capable in multi-tasking and priority-setting
§ Command written and spoken English fluently
§ Is literate in Microsoft Office programs
§ Be willing to travel frequently
